Richard J. Mallett

Before joining James H. Brown and Associates in 1999, Mr. Mallett worked as an insurance defence lawyer at a large Edmonton law firm.

Mr. Mallett is the head of our Class Action Team, having taken on numerous high-profile cases. His comprehensive experience includes the Volkswagen $1 Billion class action case, the largest class-action settlement in Canadian history. Mr. Mallett has also successfully concluded major personal injury cases involving semi-truck and other truck litigation, having recovered millions of dollars for injury victims of truck collisions.
